Music Makers: Learn about Women Composers In-Person

The Morgantown Public Library is collaborating with the Summit Chamber Music Series and the Girl Scouts to celebrate International Women's Day! Children in grades 2-5 are invited to Meeting Room A to learn about women composers from different eras (Amy Beach, Florence Price, Gabriela Lena Frank & Liliya Ugay). We will listen to clips from a variety of composers and engage in several hands-on music-related activities. be sure to register beforehand.
