Teen Anime Club In-Person
Teens meet at the library 5-7pm, July 15th to discuss and recommend anime and manga, as well as explore the theme of the month - July is "Ocean Day"
Ocean Day is celebrated in Japan on the 3rd Monday of July. The purpose of the holiday is to give thanks for the ocean's bounty and to consider the importance of the ocean to Japan as a maritime nation.
There will be an anime showing, and a craft or game.
New enthusiasts and experienced fans are welcome.
Attendees are introduced to different works and genres in Japanese animation, and discuss it with their peers in a relaxed book-club-esque setting.
