Teen Anime Club In-Person
Teens meet at the library 5-7pm, August 19th to discuss and recommend anime and manga, as well as explore the theme of the month - August is "Video Games!"
We will be discussing the sci-fi side of this topic with anime and manga like Sword Art Online, and BOFURI: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, so I'll Max Out My Defense. As well as works like Young Ladies Don't Play Fighting Games which take place in a more mundane setting.
There will be an anime showing, and a craft or game.
New enthusiasts and experienced fans are welcome.
Attendees are introduced to different works and genres in Japanese animation, and discuss it with their peers in a relaxed book-club-esque setting.
